- This collection includes the journal of Ruth Anne Hillborn from 1864-1868. She relates events concerning the emancipation of enslaved people, the U. S. Civil War, and the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln. She also describes Lucretia Mott and her ministry. This collection also includes miscellaneous poetry, a facsimile letter to the Women's Aid Association of Philadelphia about efforts in freedman's relief, a letter from John Bailey on Quaker ministry, and extracts from an account of the death of George F. White.
