Abstract:

Alfred Edward Newton (1864-1940) was an American author and book collector. He is best known for his 1918 book, Amenities of Book Collecting. He is also credited with having popularized book collecting between 1910 and 1930. This collection contains a typescript draft and printer's proofs for his 1936 book, Bibliography and Pseudo-Bibliography.
