Abstract:: Rosalie Stork Regen (1909-1993) was a Quaker author and playwright who joined the Rahway and Plainfield Monthly Meeting in 1941. She was the daughter of Charles Wharton Stork and Elisabeth von Pausinger Stork. An active member of the Society of Friends, Rosalie taught First Day School and visited Quakers all over the world. The collection includes journals kept continuously from 1936 to the time of her death in 1993. She also maintained a prodigious correspondence with family and friends. Includes drafts of her writings, some of which were published: "Peaceful Heroes," a collection of plays, in 1962, and "Forever in Joy," a book of poetry, in 1974.

Abstract:: The diary of George A. Selleck's trip from his home in Kansas to England to attend the Friend's Peace Conference as a delegate. Entries detail Selleck's travel by train from Kansas to Philadelphia and on to New York, his voyage from New York to Liverpool, and his travels within England. Upon his arrival in England, entries describe sight seeing, largely in Devonshire, as well as Friends visited and Meetings attended.

Abstract:: This collection is comprised of three volumes of the travel journals of Margaret Jenkins. The first volume describes Jenkins's voyage from New York to San Francisco, and her voyage home from San Francisco to New York via Liverpool. The remaining two volumes describe Margaret Jenkins's trip to the Himalayan Mountains in 1911 and 1912, to visit her cousin, who was a missionary there.

Some of these families were Quaker, including Coates, Emlen and Vaux; others had some Quaker family members, including Cresson, other families, including Gumbes and Wetherill, did not remain Quaker.

Abstract:: Margaretta Walton (1829-1904), eminent Quaker minister of Ercildoun, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The collection contains diaries and correspondence of Walton and her husband, Jesse Pusey Walton; business papers and memorabilia; sermons; and related papers. Also included in the collections are journals (1836-1853) of her father, Joseph Shoemaker Walton, who was companion to several Quaker ministers.
