Abstract:

The Economic Stabilization Agency was a federal government agency responsible for imposing price ceilings and wage controls to stabilize the United States economy during the Korean War. It was authorized with the Defense Production Act of 1950, and abolished in 1953. This collection is comprised of materials created during the daily functioning of the Economic Stabilization Agency, and of materials related to the Agency and to the Defense Production Act of 1950.
