- Eleanor Lambertsen was a prominent nurse educator who led the nursing education faculty at both Teachers College, Columbia University and Cornell University/New York Hospital School of Nursing. This collection contains reports of her involvement in national and state-level activities, including the American Medical Association, National Commission for the Study of Nursing and Nursing Education, Nation's Health, and the American Nurses Association, as well as some of her correspondence and personal papers.
