Abstract:

William Leland Hires (1918-2009) was a psychologist, military veteran, and genealogist and local historian who resided in Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The William L. Hires genealogy research on Keyser-Shelmire family, 1833-1988, consists of genealogical research on members of the Keyser-Shelmire families. This material includes family data sheets, correspondence, research notes, and copies of research notes, filed by family member. There is a small amount of original primary source material in the collection.
