Mary Rhoads Haines's memoir details her trip to Great Britain and Ireland, which she took in 1874 and 1875. The memoir describes the voyage by sea, her arrival in Britain, and travel throughout Britain and Ireland, as well as Quaker meetings attended, Quaker families visited, tourist destinations visited, and local history. Includes excerpts of letters and journals written during the trip, as well as photos, illustrations, and post cards.
