- David Rockwell Goddard (1908-1985) was a plant physiologist, educator, and provost of the University of Pennsylvania. The collection includes papers related to Goddard's work on several panels, including the Life Sciences Panel; the Commission on Narcotics and Drug Addiction; the Pesticide Panel of the Federal Council for Science and Technology; and the National Academy of Sciences Advisory Committee on the USSR and Eastern Europe. Materials include reports, memoranda, newsletters, pamphlets, meetings minutes and newspaper clippings.
