- The First National Bank of Lansdale was chartered in 1864 with $100,000 in capital. On February 20, 1954, it was absorbed by the Philadelphia National Bank. The First National Bank of Lansdale ledger and discount books, 1864-1900, consist of one ledger with indexes, 1899-1900, and two discount books that cover the years 1864 to 1873.
