- The collection contains Nobel laureate Paul Lauterbur's groundbreaking work in the field of spectroscopy. His early work, dealing with 13C spectroscopy as well as his invention of NMR zeugmatography/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are both thoroughly documented. Lauterbur's grant applications research data, publications, presentations, and student work are contained within the collection. There is a collection of photographs and slides. Paul C. Lauterbur's notebook is also at the Chemical Heritage Foundation.
