- Correspondence is largely personal, but does include a number of letters addressed to Mary Davis's Meeting, including South Kingstown Monthly Meeting. Letters included in this volume are all written by Mary Davis, and are addressed to the following individuals: Lydia Gould, P. Dunham, J Walton, and her son, J.H Davis, among others. Letters are generally religious in nature, or are related to personal matters such as news of family and friends. A number of letters dated 1838 are related to Davis's religious visit to New York.
