Abstract:: The George Fox Club was organized in 1918 by a group of Quaker men in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to express support for the war effort. The small collection includes a brief typed history (carbon copy) of the organization; two copies of the Articles of Association of the George Fox Club of Philadelphia, one edited; and copies of Advices for Friends and Statement of Loyalty. Also a printed correction/addendum in which Friends added their names in support and one member announced that his name had been included in error.

Abstract:: Morris Lewis Clothier (1868-1947) was a businessman associated with Strawbridge & Clothier department store and a Swarthmore College alum who remained involved with the college from his graduation in 1890 until his death. The Morris L. Clothier papers on Swarthmore College, 1885-1948, consist of coursework, ephemera, nostalgic memorials, photographs, and other papers relating to Morris L. Clothier's time as a Swarthmore student and his involvement with alumni activities.

Abstract:: This collection contains 31 photograph albums, dating from approximately 1876 to 1975, that document Swarthmore College social life and campus views. Various sources donated the material, and the Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College made an artifical collection in 3/2005 that combined all the photos into one group.
