- The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, Pennsylvania is a renowned theater that has hosted numerous famous actors and productions since it opened in 1939. It was founded as part of an adaptive reuse effort to save an historic 1790 structure. The Bucks County Playhouse records, 1947-1972, include annual reports, playbills, miscellaneous correspondence and financial and business records, property records, and legal correspondence and business records.
