- Abstract:
- The pamphlets of the Atomic Age Collection, which date from 1945 to the late 1990s, address atomic weapons and defense in the nuclear age. Topics range from first impressions of the effects of the Atomic Bomb at the end of World War II to anti-nuclear waste activism in the late 1990s. This collection consists of pamphlets arranged by creator, such as the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and related groups, the Committee of 100, European Nuclear Disarmament (END), and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI); there are also a large number of pamphlets by various creators arranged chronologically in the collection's "Miscellaneous" section.
