- Aaron T. Beck (1922-2022) was a psychiatrist, known for his work with Cognitive Behavior Therapy. He was a professor in the department of psychiatry in the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, the director of the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center, and founder of the Beck Institute. The Aaron T. Beck papers document his personal and professional life, including Beck's academic, research and clinical career. Included in the collection are correspondence, photographs, research material,
administrative material, and clinical records (of which patient-specific records are closed).
