Richard Slater Dunn is a noted Early American Historian, who was a member of the faculty in the Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania from 1963 - 1996, and was the founder and first director of the Philadelphia Center for Early American Studies (now the McNeil Center for Early American Studies).The Richard S.
