- Michail M. Dorizas was an athlete, coach, educator, and traveler. He received his Ph.D. in 1924 from the University of Pennsylvania and taught economic and political geography at the Wharton School from 1919-1929 as an Instructor and from 1929-1957 as Assistant Professor. Correspondence between Mike Dorizas and Benjamin Rose Hoffman make up almost the entirety of this collection and cover topics such as wrestling and other sporting activities at the University of Pennsylvania, travel, service during World War I, and his early teaching career at the University.
