- Alfred Bendiner received both a bachelor of architecture degree in 1922 and a master's degree in 1927 from the University of Pennsylvania. In 1937, when he accompanied the University Museum's archeological expedition to Tepe Gawra and Khafaji, Iraq, Bendiner's task was to draw architectural blueprints of these sites. He was also architect to the university's Tikal-Tikal archeological expedition to Guatamala in 1960. These papers include Alfred Bendiner's published articles and his drawings (originals and reproductions) done for publications by his class and by the University of Pennsylvania.
