Abstract:

Edith Nunan was a librarian at Philadelphia General Hospital. This collection contains publications, correspondence, and other materials related to Philadelphia General Hospital's Training School for Nurses and its nurse graduates. This collection also includes the records of a Nurse Biography Project, which documented significant nurses, as well as Nunan's collection of non-PGH materials related to nursing history.
