Thomas Childs Cochran was an economic historian, educator and author who was on the faculty of New York University (1927-1950) and the University of Pennsylvania (1950-1972); who is notable for his contributions to the development of numerous professional organizations with which he was associated during his career. The Cochran Papers consist of Professor Cochran's general, correspondence relating to the organizations with which he was affiliated, and his teachings and writings
