Abstract:

Emmanuel Methodist Episcopal Church was located at 25th and Brown Streets in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Started as a mission of the Spring Garden Street Church, it was founded in 1875 and discontinued in 1985. The Emmanuel Methodist Episcopal Church records, circa 1875-1986, consist primarily of membership and vital records, with one minute book, twenty years of "The Emmanuel Observer" newsletter, and various other documents.
