Abstract:: Leon De Valinger, Jr., served as Delaware State Archivist from 1941 to 1970. The Leon De Valinger papers contain his personal and professional records, primarily related to his work as State Archivist and as a historian of Delaware. His professional, administrative, and subject files offer a window into the varied concerns of the archives profession as it evolved during the 20th century. Additionally, his work to document, preserve, and promote Delaware history and culture forms a theme throughout his papers.

Abstract:: Incorporated in 1890, the Carpenter Paper Company was the first paper warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska. The Carpenter Paper Company cabinet and paper samples consist of approximately ninety booklets and sample books of envelopes, writing paper, and cardboard dating between 1900 and the 1920s, and the coabinet which housed these materials.

Abstract:: Michael Peich is an emeritus professor of English at West Chester University. In 1982, he founded the Aralia Press, a fine arts press used to teach university students the art of printing. The Michael Peich paper specimens catalogs collection comprises American and worldwide paper manufacturers' sample books sent to Peich and Aralia Press from 1977-2008, largely advertising hand- and machine-made art and printing paper.
