Abstract:: In the 1960s, the Pennsylvania Department of Forests and Waters began planning a 86 foot dam in the Skippack Valley area of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Local opposition, including several members of St. James' Episcopal Church, was strong, and the Evansburg dam was never built. The Edward Platts and Ralph Bayfield collection on the Evansburg dam, 1960-1975, consists of five scrapbooks, several government reports, research on dams, and a map.

Abstract:: George N. Zendt (1877-1941) was a banker in Souderton, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. With his wife M. Eva Zendt (1878-1957) he had four children, including Harvey B. Zendt and the Rev. A. Randal Zendt (1902-1976). The Zendt family papers, 1887-1976, include financial records and personal papers from various members of the Zendt family, as well as genealogical information.

Erb was a pastor who married Andora Fryer in 1896. The Erb family papers, 1893-1931, contain newspaper clippings, genealogy research, articles, publications, marriage certificates, diplomas, year books and student records, pastoral records, and other miscellaneous papers pertaining to the Erb family, especially Russell C. and William H. Erb.
