Bucks County Gazette began publication in 1948, became the
New Hope Gazette in 1976, and still publishes articles as part of the Bucks Local News network (as of 2013). The "New Hope Gazette" photographs and subject files, circa 1960-1996, consist primarily of photographs from the files of the newspaper offices, depicting people in alphabetically-arranged files. There are also some subject files on events, artists, buildings, schools, and other topics, containing additional photographs as well as clippings, pamphlets and ephemera, and other miscellaneous documents.
