Abstract:: Montgomery Township (in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania) was formally established in 1714 and was primarily a farming community for most of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The Montgomery Township Historical Society local history collection, 1943-2012, includes clippings, research notes, property maps, family genealogies, photographs, several audiocassettes, and a small amount of original family papers and organizational records, all relating to the history of Montgomery Township and its inhabitants, organizations, and buildings.

Abstract:: J. Nate Levine was one of America's best known professional dog handlers, known as the "Father of the American Sheltie." He and his wife Florence operated a kennel in North Wales, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The J. Nate Levine family papers, 1923-1978, chiefly consists of records of J. Nate Levine's dog-handling career and kennel business. There is also a small amount of his wife Florence's personal correspondence and papers from Florence's sister (Grace Rose St. John MacBride).

Abstract:: Montgomery Elementary School is part of the North Wales School District in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and serves families in Montgomery Township. A Parent Teacher Association, later known as a Home and School Association, exists to improve communication between home and school by providing a link between parents and administrators. The bulk of the Montgomery Township Parent Teacher Association records, 1951-1978, is scrapbooks dating from 1951 to 1962. The remainder of the collection consists of printed pamphlets and ephemera, newspaper clippings, and financial records and minutes.
