Charles Holt (1821-1892) was a farmer in what is now Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The Holt family papers, 1843-1897, include a diary begun in 1855 and continued by Holt's daughter until 1893. There are also account books and a recipe book of cures.
