- Hazel Marie Griffin was an Indologist and the head of the South Asian languages section of the Library of Congress. This collection contains typescripts of British primary source documents on India dating from the early to mid-19th century. The typescripts were created between 1977 and 1988 and consist of subjects ranging from sati to medicine with a focus on education.
