Abstract:: Alvin Z. Rubinstein (1927-2001) was a political scientist and international relations scholar, who was best known for his studies of the foreign relations of the former Soviet Union and Russia. Frankie Rubinstein (1918-2019) was an English teacher who taught at Philadelphia's Overbrook High School and at the Philadelphia High School for Girls. Together, from 1960 to 2000, the married couple travelled extensively to countries in Europe, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. While their travels were motivated chiefly by Alvin Rubinstein's research and academic work as a political scientist, the majority of the correspondence and other material reflect Frankie's voice and life experience. However, her husband Alvin did write some correspondence and the collection also includes several journals in which he took extensive notes on trips to Yugoslavia and Moscow in the 1960s.

Abstract:: Robert and Barbara Barlow (Bob and Babs) traveled to India from 1943 to 1945. It is unclear from the volume if the Barlows were visiting India as a result of service during World War II or if they were traveling for pleasure. The album, titled "Street Scenes in India" provides no hints to who the Barlows were or why they were in India, but contains photographs of the various sights (both architectural and cultural) found during their stay.

Abstract:: This photograph album includes 97 photos taken between 1909 and 1914 in India, primarily in the Shimla and Pune area. The photographer is unknown, but it is likely that he was a British soldier in the 3rd Sappers and Miners in the Indian Army.

Abstract:: Two volumes comprised of 235 picture postcards compiled by an unnamed person, probably from Adelaide, South Australia. The postcards represent the compiler's journey throughout British occupied India spanning the years from 1907 to 1909. Twenty-eight postcards are of European cities. A majority of the postcards have handwritten commentary and remarks on the versos creating a postcard travel journal or diary.
