- T. Atkinson Jenkins (1868-1935) was a Quaker and a university professor. The collection contains chiefly correspondence, questionnaires, notes, clippings, and other papers, relating to Jenkins's collection of information on Friends' attitudes to the Mexican and Civil wars, information which was designed to be part of the reassessment of the Quaker peace testimony in preparation for the first Friends World Conference (London, 1920). Also includes bibliography of Jenkins' writings on French language and literature.
