Abstract:: GDA Companies, Inc., was a corporate communications and design business formed by Richard and Karin Florschutz and based in Wilmington, Delaware. It grew out of Graphic Design Associates, Inc., which was founded by the couple in 1979. GDA Companies records comprises administrative and organizational files as well as numerous design samples created by the organization for largely Delaware-based businesses, including multiple, large pharmaceutical enterprises, between 1979 and 2000. The collection also includes pre-GDA Richard Florschutz design work, art, and ephemera, dating circa 1969-1979.

Abstract:: Newark Publishing Co. was a Newark, Delaware, printing business established in the mid-20th century and was owned and operated by William H. Durham from circa 1967 to 1981. Newark Publishing Co. records comprises over 3000 job printing files created by the press for largely Newark, Delaware-based businesses between 1963 and 1981. The collection also includes administrative and financial records of the company and its precursor, the Newark Post weekly newspaper, from 1936-1981.

Abstract:: Zephyrus Image, founded by Holbrook Teter and Michael Myers, was a small Northern California press operating from approximately 1969-1983, notable for its socially- and politically-subversive books and ephemera and its fine works on paper. The Zephyrus Image records document the activities of the California press and its proprietors and the planning and development of roughly 300 printed works of poetry and political and satirical books and ephemera. Zephyrus Image projects were created for and in collaboration with a host of literary and artistic figures, including Edward Dorn, Tom Raworth, William T. Wiley, Lucia Berlin, Stan Brakhage, and Robert Creeley.

Located in the Rose Valley Arts and Crafts Community of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Hedgerow holds the distinction as the longest serving Repertory Theatre in America. The Hedgerow Theatre Company records contains a wide variety of materials, from business records and show materials to member ephemera and photographs. The collection provides both a practical and intimate look into the workings of this repertory theatre.
