Abstract:: The University of Delaware Department of Women and Gender Studies poster collection includes a variety of posters presumably collected by faculty members during the 1970s and 1980s. The small collection is international in scope and reflects the relationship between women's issues and broader sociopolitical movements such as nuclear disarmament and unionization.

Abstract:: The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), an organization formed in Great Britain in January 1958, intended to persuade the government to "renounce unconditionally the use or production of nuclear weapons and refuse to allow their use by others in its defense." The records of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) contains three linear feet of material including articles, clippings, minutes and agendas from conferences, files, microfilm, and publications. The material surveys the issues of the nuclear disarmament movement in England beginning with the formation of the CND in 1958. Several contentious issues are documented throughout the collection.

Abstract:: The pamphlets of the Atomic Age Collection, which date from 1945 to the late 1990s, address atomic weapons and defense in the nuclear age. Topics range from first impressions of the effects of the Atomic Bomb at the end of World War II to anti-nuclear waste activism in the late 1990s. This collection consists of pamphlets arranged by creator, such as the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and related groups, the Committee of 100, European Nuclear Disarmament (END), and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI); there are also a large number of pamphlets by various creators arranged chronologically in the collection's "Miscellaneous" section.
