Collection includes biographical information, correspondence (1970-2001), information about Herman's trips to the Balkans and his work for a Balkan Peace Studies Center, 1992-2001 and the Balkans Concerns Group; also includes Herman's participation in other societies, conferences and symposia concerning peace and nonviolence, including the Peace Studies Association, the American Friends Service Committee's Europe Program, the Consortium on Peace Research, Education, and Development (COPRED); includes reference files about the Balkan region and the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina; there is some information about Petra Kelly. The collection also includes photographs, periodicals, and audiocassettes.
