The 1892 Republican National Convention was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from June 7-10, 1892. The convention culminated in the nomination of sitting Republican President Benjamin Harrison as the Republican candidate for president and Whitelaw Reid of New York as vice president. Harrison lost to Democratic challenger Grover Cleveland.
