Abstract:
Consists of letters and enclosures written and sent by American writer Gilbert Sorrentino to American editor Steven Moore, between 1996 and 2005.

Steven Moore was Managing Editor of Dalkey Archive Press from 1988 to 1996, and in that capacity he copyedited two of Sorrentino's novels,

Misterioso and Under the Shadow, and oversaw the reprints of several of his earlier novels during that time, while also editing William McPherson's Sorrentino bibliography. When Moore left Dalkey Archive in June of 1996, he left most of his earlier letters from Sorrentino, but continued to correspond with Sorrentino until May of 2005.
