Holograph manuscript poem written by Lew Welch with the first line: "Richer than the richest Falconer." Signed by Welch and dated February 13, 1964. The item is not marked anywhere, but it comes from the Bolinas home of Richard Brautigan, where it was one time tacked up to the wall. The bulk of Welch's manuscripts is institutionalized at UC San Diego, though this item is not listed in their inventory.
