Irish novelist and poet Katharine Tynan (1861-1931) was a major writer of the Irish Literary Renaissance who created over one hundred literary works in a variety of genres.

This collection consists of four autograph letters signed by Katharine Tynan Hinkson to Aliston [?] Mathews. They are dated July 11, 1929; July 22, 1929; August 27, 1929; and January 12, 1930. The letters discuss her poems and plans to publish another volume of selected works.
