Militia documents relating to Ralph Haskins, member of the Boston Hussars, a militia group formed in New England during the War of 1812, including a booklet titled,
Rules and Regulations of the Boston Hussars. Instituted November 20, 1810., six newspaper articles from the Boston Daily Advertiser, and three autograph appointments of Haskins to Sergeant (1811), Cornet (1814), and Lieutenant (1816). Other materials consist of financial autograph accounts of military and uniform related expenditures, all dating from 1803 to 1879.Box 1, F0016A: Shelved in SPEC MSS 0099 manuscript boxes.
