Overview and metadata sections
This item is a flier for a teach-in at the University of Delaware on March 19-20, 1982, focused on the Reagan administration and numerous domestic and foreign affairs policy concerns. A teach-in is a form of educational instruction, similar to a seminar, but meant to be practical, participatory, and action-focused. Teach-ins became popular in the United States as a form of protest during the Vietnam War.
The teach-in being advertised in the flier covered numerous topics, including militarism, energy, education, economics, foreign affairs, gay rights, women's rights, and civil liberties.
