Members of the Parrish family were prominant in the Philadelphia Quaker community. Eleanor Parrish Denniston was the daughter of Samuel and Anna Hunt Parrish.
Donor's grandmother, Eleanor Hunt Parrish (d. 1931) married Edward Evans Denniston, ca. 1885.
