Overview and metadata sections

Thomas Mott Osborne was active in the prison reform movement. He was born in Auburn, New York, in 1859, the son of David Munson and Eliza Wright Osborne. In 1886 he married Agnes Devens. From 1914-1916 he was warden of Sing Sing prison. He authored two books, Society and Prisons and Prisons and Common Sense. Thomas Mott Osborne died in 1926.
