Mary White Longshore was born in 1792, the daughter of Joseph and Mary White, of Bucks County, Pa. In 1841 she married Abraham Longshore. Her sister Martha was born in 1788 and in 1818 married Isaac B. Williams. The Williams moved into Warsaw, Ohio, in 1840, but kept in close touch with their Longshore relations. Two of their sons, Joseph and Jeremiah, were frequent correspondents with Mary Longshore. She was a member of Middletown Monthly Meeting of Friends until her death in 1860.
