The Lansdowne Friends School was established in 1902 by members of the Lansdowne Friends Meeting and was incorporated in 1979. The school is governed by a School Committee appointed by the Monthly Meeting. It is guided by its mission of providing a "challenging educational program guided by Quaker values, especially those of respect for all people and peaceful problem solving."
The collection contains School Committee minutes, financial records, reports, and correspondence.
The collection is arranged by series and then chronologically.
The collection was deposited by John McKinstry, Head of the School, in October of 2018.
Alison Sielaff processed the collection in November of 2018.
Reports of the Lansdowne Friends School Committee, 1965-1989, form part of the records of Lansdowne Monthly Meeting.
