Overview and metadata sections

The Deptford Free School Society was a Quaker organization which established the Deptford Free School in Woodbury, New Jersey, in 1774. Beginning in 1805, the Society met annually at a business meeting to oversee the operation of the School. The property was conveyed to the City of Woodbury in 1893, due to declining enrollment.

The collection contains minutes, 1774-1893.
