Walter Holt, a Media, Pa., professional photographer, was commissioned by Swarthmore College from 1965-1995.
This collection contains Holt's photographs of Commencements and Inaugurations, Alumni days, and other special events as well as campus scenes and student and faculty portraits. There are seven binders of contact sheets and negatives.
This collection is arranged in binders by date.
Purchase by Swarthmore College, Office of the President. Accession SPA 2015.007.
The collection was received in three boxes and rehoused in mylar sleeves and binders. Walter Holt provided a basic inventory, organized chronologically. Negatives were stored in envelopes labeled A-R. His file numbers have been retained in the finding aid.
