Burton Alva Konkle was an American historian, teacher, and author. He was ordained in the ministry of the Presbyterian Church in 1894 and a founder of the Pennsylvania History Club. He wrote a number of books mostly about political figures in Pennsylvania history.
Arranged in two series, David Lloyd manuscript and James Wilson manuscripts.
The Life and Writings of James Wilson, Vols. 1-4, available on microfilm, MS-K, in Friends Historical Library.
The manuscripts were given by Konkle's daughter, Winifred Ferry Fishcer (Mrs. Charles Fischer), 1967.
The manuscripts were foldered and briefly described when deposited on loan by Konkle's widow. Their daughter donated them to the Library in 1967.
