O'Connor was probably from Baltimore, Maryland.
A volume comprised of notes on geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration, and a section dealing with apprenticeships kept by Eugene O'Connor from 1817-1818. Baltimore is written inside the back cover and there is a note about the Maryland state lottery, written on the title page.. Title page reads: Practical mathematic containing the mensuration of superficies and solids. Eugene O'Connor's Book, ticket no. 1175. Maryland State Lottery. The volume is divided in three parts variously paginated. The first part includes contents, and notes on geometry and mensuration consisting of 119 pages. The next page continues with text on measuring triangles, and forms the second part the pages are numbered 10 to 119, then, 220-222. The third part consists of 10 handwritten leaves in the form of a daybook, February 4, 1817, to December 7, 1818, with entries concerning apprentices and contracts.
