This volume contains a personal library catalog organized by bookcase with English and French works ranging in date from 17th to the 19th centuries. The books are largely on topics such as English literature, history, and geography; French literature and history; grammar, language, and shorthand; chess; and mathematics. Books are described with short titles; usually with no author; and only occasionally dates. There is a stab-stitched binding with marbled paper covers. Pages are blank from pages 27-40; and there are 2 laid in leaves after page 20.
