The creator of this library catalog is unknown. It is believed to have been created in France during the 1820s.
This volume contains a catalog in French of books in a private library. The books are largely medical and scientific works and address women's health; the treatment of fevers; natural history; and chemistry. The books were cataloged first alphabetically (pages 1-26), then by volume (pages 1-53), showing that the owner appears to have had them bound uniformly in 68 volumes. Books are described with abbreviated titles and authors. The volume is bound in a decorative paper wrappers.
