Charles English was presumably an officer stationed in Plymouth, England aboard the H.M.S. Tribune, which was wrecked in 1832 and rebuilt in 1833.
Commonplace book compiled by Charles English while he was aboard the H.M.S. Tribune. Half binding red tanned animal skin over marbled paper boards. There are watercolor illustrations.
