Kathryn V.Bastian, Captain, ANC, was a Jeffeson Hospital School of Nursing trained nurse that while in the military was stationed in various locationed, including Texas, Hawaii, and Egypt. Materials in this collection include correspondence and photographs while stationed at the 38th General Hospital in Cairo, Egypt during World War II.
